the Lexington Avenue grade crossing in Norman, OK on October 1, 2006 at sunset. The striping on the gate is incorrect. The gate was installed upside down. FRA regulations require the stripes to be slanted towards the mast they’re attached to, so that it tells drivers NOT to go around the gate. The stripes on this gate installation are instead leaning away from the mast.
